ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ 6 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದ ಯು.ಕೆ. ಸಿನ್ಹಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಅವಧಿ ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.
ಸೆಬಿಯ ಒಂಬತ್ತನೇ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ 58 ವರ್ಷದ ಅಜಯ್ ತ್ಯಾಗಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತ್ಯಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಅವಧಿ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷ ಇರಲಿದೆ.
