Our Company was originally incorporated as ‘Bombay Coated and Special Steels Private Limited’, a private limited company under the provisions of Companies Act, 2013 at Mumbai, Maharashtra, pursuant to a certificate of incorporation dated December 26, 2019, issued by Assistant Registrar of Companies, Central Registration Centre at Manesar, Haryana for and on behalf of the Jurisdictional Registrar of Companies, Mumbai at Maharashtra (“RoC”). Further, pursuant to Business Transfer Agreement dated January 29, 2021 (“BTA”) with Mr. Vijaykumar Himatrai Gupta, proprietor of M/s. Bombay Steels and one of our Promoters, we acquired the running business of M/s. Bombay Steels. For further details see, ‘- Details regarding material acquisition or divestments of business/ undertakings, mergers, amalgamation, any revaluation of assets, etc. in the last years since incorporation’ on page 283. Thereafter, our Company was converted into a public limited company pursuant to a board resolution dated January 21, 2025 and a special resolution passed by our Shareholders dated January 22, 2025 and consequently, the name of our Company was changed to ‘Bombay Coated and Special Steels Limited’. A fresh certificate of change of name, consequent upon conversion to a public limited company was issued by RoC on February 14, 2025. Our Company’s Corporate Identity Number is U27209MH2019PLC335077.

- Established our Bhiwandi Facility

- Became the authorized service partner for JSWSCPL

2019

- Incorporated as ‘Bombay Coated and Special Steels Private Limited, as a private limited company under the Companies Act.

2021

- Acquisition of business of M/s. Bombay Steels pursuant to the business transfer agreement dated January 21, 2021 entered between our Company and Mr. Vijaykumar Himatrai Gupta, proprietor of M/s. Bombay Steels

- Established our Wada Facility

2022

- Established our Ghiloth Facility

2024

- Established our Sri City Facility

- Increase in the installed capacity of our Ghiloth Facility

- Increase in the installed capacity of our Wada Facility

2025

- Converted into a public limited company under the name ‘Bombay Coated and Special Steels Limited’.
