The Company was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on 1.8.1990 in the name and style of Elnet Technologies Limited and resigtered witht he Registrar of Companies, Madras, Tamil Nadu. Further the private promoters singed a joint sector agreement with ELCOT for setting up a software technology part on 31.10.1990. The certificate of commencement of business was obtained by the company on 20.11.1991. The company is setting up a software park on a plot of land admeasuring five acres at Taramani, Madras in Tamil Nadu to provide infrastructural facilities viz, Airconditioned working space, un-interrupted power supply,data communication facilties, etc. to software Development for development of software both for domestic and international markets.

After incorporation in 1990, the company critically looked at various facilities required for software developmetn companies and finalised the specific requirements during the second half of 1991. The company then approached ICICI for financial assistance which was sanctioned in December 1991 and the first disbursement of funds was made in October 1992.

The company commenced the civil works in November 1992 after obtaining the necessary statutory approvals. The implemetation however, is marginally delayed due to pile foundation not envisaged originally. The project is now nearing completion.

2002
-Elnet Technologies Ltd has informed BSE that Parvathaneni Santhosh Kumar has been appointed as Director of the company.

2003
-Elnet Technologies Ltd has informed BSE that Thiru Hans Raj Verma has resigned as Chairman and Director of the company w.e.f. March 31, 2003 and Thiru Vivek Harinarain IAS has been appointed as Chairman and Director of the company w.e.f. April 29, 2003.

2005
-Company has recommended a dividend of 15%.

2006

-Elnet Technologies Ltd appointed Mr. Thiru G Senrayaperumal as a Director of the Company w.e.f. October 25, 2006.

2010

- Elnet Technologies Limited has informed that the Board of Directors of the company, at its meeting held on 27th January 2010, had appointed Mr. K. Kasim - IPS (Retd.) as an independent director. (Source MSE).

-Company has recommended a dividend of 12%.

2012

-Elnet Technologies has recommended Dividend of 12%.

2013

-Company has recommended a Dividend of 14%.

2014

-Elnet Technologies has recommended Dividend of 14%.
