Kings India Chemicals Corporation Ltd. ಕಂಪನಿ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ವಿವರ

The company was originally incorporated as King Chemicals Private Limited on March 10, 1989. Subsequently, the company was converted into a Public Limited company and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation has been obtained from the Registrar of Companies, Tamil Nadu on April, 11, 1990. The name of the company was changed to King Chemicals Limited.

MAIN OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY

The main objects of the company as set out in the Memorandum of Association are as under:

To carry on the business of wine and spirit makers, brewers, distillers, fruit growers preservers and manufacturers of all vegetable products and to sell or otherwise trade in all wines, spirits, alcoholic liquors.

To carry on the business of manufacturers, sellers and dealers of all kinds of chemicals, acids, salts, alkalies, dyes, paints, oils, resingns, and paper products.

To carry on in all its branches the business of refinery, blending, processing, storing, transporting, supplying, selling and distributing petroleum products petro-chemicals and its derivatives.

To manufacture, purchase or otherwise acquire, refine, treat, reduce distill, blend, pruigy, pump, store, hold transport, use, experiment with market, distribute, exchange, supply, sell, dispose of, import, export, trade and generally deal in all kinds of molasses, alcholic liquors and spirit.

To carry on all or any of the business of the consignees, agents and dealers in all kinds of petroleum products, chemicals and its derivatives.

The immediate object of the company is to set up a plant at Vadaseri, Orathanadu Taluk, Thanjavur District, Tamilnadu for the manufacture of alcohol based chemicals namely, 7500 tpa of Acetic Acid, 2100 tpa of Acetic Anhydride and 3600 tpa of Ethyle Acetate and 6000 tpa of Acetaldehyde, intermediate product of Acetic Acid.
